MGT GUESTS ON NEW REVOLTING COCKS

Posted on the Ministry/RevCo blog:

"On a short stopover from Tucson to the Secret Cover Tour show in Austin Texas, the Peter Murphy band dropped by the compound to say hello, eat Tex Mex and drink! Of course Uncle Al Jourgensen (who is in the studio now with guitarist Sin Quirin finalizing the new Revolting Cocks release, as yet untitled) immediately put everyone to work in the studio.

Uncle Al with guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite (The Mission, Tricky, Peter Murphy and Mob Research).  Mark laid down some guitar trax for the new RevCo.  We had some great chats about our mutual friend, Paul Raven, as Mark collaborated with Raven on the Mob Research project which is out NOW! www.mobresearchinc.com. A great tribute to the late, great Raven.

WAYNE & JULIANNE RECORDING TOGETHER

As those of you who were able to listen to Wayne´s interview with Andrew Collins on Radio BBC 6 last Friday are now aware Wayne is currently recording an album with Julianne Regan.

We´ll let Wayne tell you about it in his own words.

`Yeah, Julianne and I are recording together. It´s a fairly loose remit with the only criterions being that we record songs we both like and we, Julianne and I, play all the instruments ourselves, no guests, and that it´s fun. We are sifting through a pile of suggestions for cover versions at the moment but as well as covers we do intend to write, both on our own and possibly together, a few new songs for this album along with maybe covering one or two old AAE & Mission songs. Some songs will be duets and some will feature one of us more than the other. There are no rules. And there is no deadline, we´ll do it at our own pace via the wonder of the internet to start with but I daresay that as the project nears completion we will get together on the same continent to add the finishing touches and to mix. We have absolutely no plans for playing live, no plans yet for release, all we´re gonna do is record a bunch of songs and see where it takes us. Hopefully it´ll be a fun ride. `

There is a thread on the MWIS forum asking for your suggestions of songs that you´d possibly like to see Julianne & Wayne record together. If you´d like to make a suggestion then please go to : http://themissionuk.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5157

http://themissionuk.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5157

Also at this time I´m sure you´d like to join all of us here at MWIS in wishing Wayne a very happy birthday for tomorrow (Tues. 26th) and a speedy recovery from his recent surgery.

WAYNE ON THE RADIO & CONGRATS TO THE MORGAN FAMILY

We´re sure you´d all like to join us in sending our heartiest congratulations to our webmaster, the venerable Mr. Paul Morgan, and his lovely wife, Rachel, on the birth of their bouncing baby boy, Griffin Coooper, recently. Well done you two. There is a thread on our forum here at MWIS where you can stop by and add your own personal message for the Morgan family.

We´d also like to let you know that Wayne will be interviewed live tomorrow (Fri. 21st) via telephone at midday by Andrew Collins on BBC Radio 6. We understand that Wayne will be announcing during the interview news of a new and, we think, exciting project he has recently embarked upon. And to that end there is another thread on the forum here on MWIS where Wayne has asked for your help´in suggesting songs by other artists that you´d like to hear him either record or perform live at one of his solo shows. Go on, add your own suggestion.

And look out for Mark Gemini Thwaite on tour with Peter Murphy this summer in a town near you (full dates in a previous news story). Wear your Mission shirt and go along to the show and say hello to Mark, he always likes that and always finds time for a word with everyone! What a lovely boy!

Wayne Hussey: "Raven was one of the good guys. He became a good friend of Mick Brown first and then gradually I got to know him and we got on very well. He was always encouraging, loved music, talking about it and playing it. The last time I heard from him was a month or so ago. Ironically he emailed me to tell me that it was 'a very nice thing to do to post a news message on MWIS about the death of a fan (Ashira)'. He also went onto say that he loved the idea of the Shepherds Bush shows and was gonna try to get to at least one or two of them. I shall miss him. I liked him a lot."

APRIL FOOL

OK, well done to those of you that figured out that last night´s news story about Wayne becoming an actor was an April Fool´s joke. We certainly didn´t fool as many of you this year as we did with last year´s story about Wayne rejoining TSOM. We´ll have to try harder next year to come up with something that will fool more of you, maybe something along the lines of The Mission, at long last, get a good review in the NME!!!!

Anyway, some facts regarding last night´s hoax: Wayne has never harboured ambition to act in a film or onstage. The closest Wayne would like to get to being in a film is that he would dearly love to score a film one day, Brad Pitt or otherwise. Wayne did indeed go to see Radiohead in both Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paulo recently and was invited to the aftershow parties. Brad Pitt wasn´t in attendance. Wayne has met Brad Pitt before, coincidentally backstage at a Radiohead show in Los Angeles on April 1st in the late ´90´s. Brad Pitt is a big Radiohead fan. Brad Pitt is not an avowed Mission fan although Mr. Pitt did, in fact, attend a Mission show at the Shepherds Bush Empire in the mid 90´s whilst he was in London filming Interview With A Vampire and did apparently buy 2 Mission t-shirts. Tom Cruise did not attend with him.

Anyway, hope no harm was done this time around.

WAYNE´S GOING TO HOLLYWOOD!

Hi, hope you´re good. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I am about to embark on a new career.....in acting!!!!! My wife, Cinthya, is an actress and doing rather well with it here in Brazil and having watched, and helped, her progress for the last 3 or 4 years I always felt it was something I could do myself and would enjoy doing, after all, what is fronting a band if not a form of acting?  Anyway, these were all just thoughts until recently when I went to see Radiohead in Rio De Janeiro. Having friends that work for Radiohead I was invited to the aftershow party and who was there? Brad Pitt! Now, I have met Mr. Pitt once before, coincidentally, at a Radiohead show in Los Angeles in 1999, I think it was. Anyway, we got talking and he reminded me that he was actually once a Mission fan, coming to see us at Shepherds Bush Empire in the mid 90´s whilst he was in London filming Interview With A Vampire and walking away with two Mission t-shirts that he´d purchased at the merch stall. The t-shirts have long since faded in direct contrast to Mr. Pitt´s career.

Anyway, as these conversations go, I asked what he was up to and he likewise asked me. I confessed my secret ambition to one day act in a film. So, since that recent meeting in Rio we have kept in touch via email and just last night he called me and asked if I´d be up for playing a small ´part in an upcoming film he´s about to start work on. Of course I jumped at the opportunity. I just wanted to share the good news with you all. I will, of course, let you know more when I do.

Of course, music is and will remain my first love, and once I have established my film career I will return to making records and playing shows. I´m sure you´d like to wish me all the best of luck in my new direction.

Cheers,

Wayne Hussey

"I met up with George Allen (Mission manager) and he gave me a copy of the rough edit DVD of the last night we played at Shepherds Bush back on March 1st 2008. I have to totally concur with George and say that I am over the moon with it. It's a fantastic performance, both by the band and by you, the audience. And it is filmed so well and sounds really great. I am sure you're all gonna be as delighted with it as we are... I do believe it is a fitting tribute

 WAYNE HUSSEY & "SHARED"

Just a reminder that Wayne will be playing the "Shared" show this week with Miles Hunt & Erica Nockalls (The Wonderstuff), Nick Heyward, Roddy Frame and Katell Keineg also playing that same night - the show will take place on 30th January at the Birmingham Town Hall.

1 2009
Wayne in exclusive 'one-off' Uk show...

The Wonder Stuff’s Miles Hunt presents “Shared”, an evening of acoustic performances on January 30th by some of the UK’s finest artists including The Mission's very own Wayne Hussey, also Erica Nockalls, Nick Heyward, Roddy Frame and Katall Keineg ...

"Having now been touring and releasing records for over two decades, I have seen more than my fair share of gigs. From the early energetic and often shambolic era of the mid’ 80’s Indie Music Scene, where I first cut my teeth, to the more considered forum of the acoustic singer/songwriter & raconteur that I now find myself a part of. And I’m more than happy in the company that I currently share."

"Having been given the opportunity to play at the newly refurbished Birmingham Town Hall I fought off the temptation of simply hogging the limelight to myself and instead felt compelled to invite a gathering of some of the finest players I’ve seen over the years, some of them friends of mine, and others that I have admired from a distance. Every artist performing at “Shared” has had a great affect on me, not only as a writer/performer myself, but also as a fan and I take it as an honour that they have accepted my invite."

"It is with great pleasure then that I invite one and all to come and share in a night that features such varied and distinct performers. It promises to be a very special evening indeed."
~ Miles Hunt

The first “Shared” event will be held at Birmingham's Town Hall UK on January 30th 2009. Tickets are priced at £19.50 GBP each (plus booking fees and other charges where appropriate). Tickets are available now from the Birmingham Town Hall's website where a number of special offers and deals on local accommodation are also available.

Tickets now available on (UK) 0121 780 3333 or from www.thsh.co.uk

for more information check out www.myspace.com/sharedevent

These are very likely to be the last solo shows Wayne will play for quite some time, certainly in the UK, as we know he is planning on spending an extended period of time in the studio this year working on various projects.

In addition to Shared, Wayne will be performing on Thursday 29th January at Hertford Corn Exchange, 39 Fore Street, Hertford, SG14 1AL UK. Tickets are priced at £15 GBP and are available from the venue itself, Hertford tourist information, and . Support for the evening will be folk rock band ‘Divided Opinions’.

On Friday 30th January Wayne will appear at  ‘Shared’ at the newly refurbished Birmingham Town Hall. Tickets are priced at £19.50 and are available from the Birmingham Town Hall box office at or by phoning 0121-780-3333.

And on Saturday 31st January Wayne will appear at London’s Islington O2 Academy in London UK, supported by ‘Grassby & Walker’ (Ed & Rob from Rhombus) who apparently debuted rather successfully in this guise at the recent Whitby Goth Festival. Tickets are priced £15 GBP. Please be aware that this show is an early show with doors open at 7.00 pm and a 10pm curfew, we are told!. So please plan to arrive early to catch both Wayne & Grassby & Walker.

HUSSEY SOLO SHOWS UPDATE

We have some additional information for you regarding the upcoming Wayne Hussey solo shows in the UK. These are very likely to be the last solo shows Wayne will play for quite some time (apart from the recently canceled shows in Italy that Wayne is currently trying to reschedule for February), certainly in the UK, as we know he is planning on spending an extended period of time in the studio this year working on various projects.

Firstly, Wayne will be performing on Thursday 29th January at Hertford Corn Exchange, 39 Fore Street, Hertford, SG14 1AL. Tickets are priced at £15 and are available from the venue itself, Hertford tourist information, and . Support for the evening will be folk rock band ‘Divided Opinions’.

On Friday 30th January Wayne will appear along with Nick Heyward, Roddy Frame, & Katell Keineg at the Miles Hunt & Erica Knockalls (from the Wonderstuff) hosted ‘Shared’ night at the newly refurbished Birmingham Town Hall. Tickets are priced at £19.50 and are available from the Birmingham Town Hall box office at or by phoning 0121-780-3333. For more info go to .
And on Saturday 31st January Wayne will appear at London’s Islington O2 Academy supported by ‘Grassby & Walker’ (Ed & Rob from Rhombus) who apparently debuted rather successfully in this guise at the recent Whitby Goth Festival. Tickets are priced £15 and are available from:
Please be aware that this show is an early show with doors open at 7.00 pm and a 10pm curfew, we are told!. So please plan to arrive early to catch both Wayne & Grassby & Walker.
Also we’d like to take this opportunity to make you aware that the Dead Guitars, the band that supported The Mission on their last tour this time last year, have a new album soon to be released – entitled Flags – that boasts guest appearances from Wayne Hussey, Mark Gemini Thwaite, & Rich Vernon. Watch out for the album as it is a rather splendid work. And also watch out for Dead Guitars tour dates for April-May as it is strongly rumoured that they have a guest guitarist/keyboard player joining them on-stage for the tour!

12 2008
NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM WAYNE

Well, here we are. Coming to the end of yet another year. Christmas has just come and gone and I hope you all received the presents that you asked Santa for and had a good time, and copious amounts of alcohol and food,  with families and friends.
Me, I spent a quiet time at home in Brazil with the wife, in-laws and friends. No turkey for me, nutroast it was and very nice too but I did get my roast potatoes. And some very nice presents. Cin got me record player (yeah, so I can play all my old vinyl!) and I'm now sat in the office listening to the first solo Tom Verlaine album whilst writing this. I'm sorry to have to tell all you Northern Europeans that it is hot here and I am sat in shorts and t-shirt and flip flops with an ice cold beer at hand. Picture it.......:)
So anyway I guess  now is the time to look back on this last year and reflect. Professionally it's been a very busy year for me and most of it I have enjoyed immensely.
As we all know The Mission played their final shows in Europe in February culminating with the 4 nights at Shepherds Bush Empire, London. That indeed was a glorious way to commence 2008. Thank you to all of you that made the effort to attend and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did and have memories as fond as mine.
The very last show on March 1st was filmed for posterity and the DVD release of that particular show will be released early in the new year. It's a goodie, I can assure you......
After a few weeks spent mixing the audio from the London shows I went home to Brazil in April to play some solo shows in Sao Paulo, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre with cellist Victor Rice in tow. Good shows and it was a lovely touch to have Victor playing with me.
In May I returned to the UK and spent a little time overseeing the editing of the film for the DVD. And then returned to Brazil just in time to spend my 50th birthday with my lovely wife, Cinthya.
In June Victor and I went out to play a handful of solo shows in Argentina, Peru, & Chile. Again, a good experience and it is always good to spend time in Buenos Aires. We made sure we had a day off there.
In late August I played a couple of solo shows in Bradford On Avon and Bristol. I really enjoyed both of those shows although I did have a mother of an hangover for the 2nd, the Bristol, show.
A couple of days after that Graham (Battery to those on the forum), who was my stage tech for the shows, journeyed to NYC and spent a week there being tourists. I have to concede that in the all times I've ever been to NYC and in all the time I've spent there I have never before been up the Empire State Building.
On Sept. 3rd I started a solo US tour in NYC with Miles Hunt and Erica Knockalls (of the Wonderstuff) and we spent 5 weeks traveling across the vast expanse that is the USA. A lot of fun was had even though some of the drives were horrendously long for attendances that were less than encouraging in some destinations. All in all though it was a lovely experience and Milo and I reaffirmed our long standing friendship and made a fantastic new friend in Erica. Also, Graham got really close which came at a time we both needed it. That's what comes of sharing a hotel room with the same person for 3 months. Thanks Gra, you've been a real friend. I hope you feel the same way about me.
We finished the US tour in New Jersey at the beginning of October and then spent 10 days or so at home in Brazil with Cin before we started up again for the sol European tour which commenced in Lisbon on 24th Oct and finished in Budapest on Nov 19th. Lots of highlights, favourite shows probably being Bochum (as always) and Barcelona.
I've met a lot of new good people along the way and re-acquainted myself with some old familiar faces. Thanks to all of you for making 2008 a good experience.
So now onto 2009. I hope the new year brings you all what you desire. Me, I have the 3 solo shows coming up in the UK at the end of January, the last shows for the forseeable future, and after that my plans are vague. I will keep busy though and keep making music. One of my objectives for the new year is to finally get around to involving myself in various musical projects that I've wanted to do for a while now. ROCK & ROOTS FESTIVAL CANCELLED...AGAIN!

And the saga goes on and on.....We have just heard that the ROCK & ROOTS FESTIVAL has once again been cancelled and it looks like it´s for good this time. We received the email message below from the organisers this morning. It looks like an official announcement maybe from their website. Anyway, on behalf of Wayne Hussey we´d like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and to those that bought tickets we wish you all the luck in the world claiming your refunds from the organisers.  Wayne´s warm-up shows in Bradford On Avon on Friday and Bristol on Saturday will still go ahead as planned.

"We have tried relentlessly to get this cancelled gig at Much Marcle rescheduled with the help of Chepstow Racecourse at their site,

but the sheer amount of ticket refunds requested over the past 3 days, together with the loss of  2 bands,

Marillion being one of them and an essential drawer, has made this  an impossible task.

Please accept our sincere apologies  and appreciation to those who have written  in with support and the loyal music lovers willing

to still come and move to Chepstow for the event. The disruption is unimaginable !

The up front infrastructure and future band payments now far exceed any over draft and loans we have committed to, it has become  financial suicide.

The ROCKnROOTS FESTIVAL 23 24 25TH AUGUST 2008  cannot go ahead

We now look to addressing the licensing issue  we will try to set a precedence through our legal team and ensure this legal farce from last week in Hereford

cannot happen to any other event organiser.

please see our web site for details     www.rocknroots.co.uk

An application made in June, for an alteration to a permanent license for the Much Marcle site, was wiped out as the licensing dept gave me the wrong application form, as the license for the premises was time locked. So a new application was made in July. and this was legally accepted as correct on 10th July by a letter received at our office  on Friday 11th. I had to supply the Ambulance Fire and Police with the same documentation on that day. I however live 2hours 30 minutes drive away from Hereford so I did this on the next possible working day Monday 14th. The Police Station in Ledbury was closed for a special briefing so I couldn’t leave documentation there, despite knocking the doors. So on the Tuesday morning I called The Police licensing officer and faxed the appropriate paper work over. This has been in the license office for all this time, four weeks, without any indication from them that there was any problem with the process of the application or the placing of notices or adverts. Despite No objections from the Police, the Environmental Health the Fire, the Children Safety Agency and the emergency services we had the application for the license ruled out because

1 The Legal Notice of Application was placed in The Worcester daily paper which was apparently not stocked in the tiny post office and grocery shop in  the hamlet of Much Marcle, (although the nearest newsagents 3 miles away, in Ledbury, do stock it as a local daily paper)
2 We failed to put a legal notice along an apparent thoroughfare, sparsely used  for handful of persons per month, going through the site (which is an open field area of 24 acres surrounded by open fields with hedges!!! ), although the all 4 perimeter fence gates WERE posted with the correct legal documentation  facing out onto roadways and busy traffic flow areas!! So therefore, it was claimed by few local objectors as an  invalid application because the walkway must be posted with a notice !!  Common sense and morality did not prevail,  so 271 musicians, 50 craft stalls and 260 traders 8 food outlets and concessions, 88 staff, scores of b+b's and hotels will go without income in these already troubled times. And 2000 peoples holidays and festival weekend entertainment, will be ruined. It leaves a black mark over the region, where tourism is an essential part of the income and work force. We are in  legal discussion."

ROCK & ROOTS FESTIVAL BACK ON! SITE MOVED!

We have just been informed that the Rock & Roots Festival that Wayne Hussey is appearing at on Sunday 24th August in now back on but the festival site has moved from Much Marcle to Chepstow Racecourse. The news item below was posted on the Rock & Roots Festival website earlier today.

"We have had to move The legends of ROCKnROOTS festival
August Bank Holiday Weekend,….
We have an alternative venue / site
The CHEPSTOW RACECOURSE on the Welsh borders at the bottom of the WYE valley from
the original Herefordshire site.
It is a regular and popular festival site..
A green field site with great parking and access and of course an added bonus to
the bank holiday Monday with a race meeting !!!
So we are all systems go for the bank holiday as planned, Friday get in with campers
and caravans etc and an evening of music in one of the tents.
Please note Chepstow is on the major London – Swansea train line.
We will also have a coach service on for Ledbury / Much Marcle / Ross On Wye
areas on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
And from potential customers – will you come ??? We will lose one of the marquees,
but the headline and the majority of artists will be appearing
on 2 stages instead of 3.
We are taking legal action with regard to this diabolical decision by Hereford
council, that has no moral or commonsense values , in
fact just the opposite as many small business people will be hurt and some crippled
with this. We are !
All Tickets for Much Marcle are VALID for this event
We need to know from our existing ticket holders if they CANNOT or don’t want to
make it. So please write back asap.
thank you
Festival team
The Festival entrance can be found on the A466, mid-way between the Racecourse main
entrance and the village of St. Arvans, approximately one mile from Chepstow town
centre. The site is huge, totally flat, is entirely within the secure walls of the
Racecourse grounds and has designated site access roads.
What’s more, it is built on limestone rock and drains extremely quickly. (Even
during the weather excesses of 2007 the site remained dry.) The site is set in the
fabulous scenery of the Wye Valley, yet is well above river/sea level.

How to Get there
By Road
The Racecourse is on the A466 Chepstow to Monmouth road, not far from the Severn
Bridge. From the M4 East (Junction 21) or M4 West (Junction 23), take the M48 and
exit at Junction 2 (Chepstow).

By Bus
6 minute journey from Chepstow Bus Station
69 Bus Service to Monmouth "

MarkGT collaborates with Tricky on new album...

Mission guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite's latest collaborations with seminal UK artist TRICKY can be heard on the brand new studio album 'Knowle West Boy'. Released in Europe this month, this is the eighth studio album by the maverick UK artist, and the third full length album release to include guitars by MGT since he started performing with Tricky back in 1998. A US release is scheduled for September.

Named after Trickys place of birth (Knowle West, an area of Bristol UK, coincidentally also  Wayne Hussey's hometown), the album is a personal rediscovery of sounds and influences. Mixing hip hop, punk, reggae and rock with his own inimitable style, results in a broad yet intense record. For more information on MGT's work with Tricky check out www. markthwaite. com.

For further information and to check out mp3s from the new album check out www. knowlewestboy. com.

In Memoriam : Ashira

For many that knew her, Ashira was a very active participant in the Mission community at large and of course a big Mish fan. The 15th of July 2008 marks a year of her passing and we at MWIS would like to make a point in acknowledging this, as well as the mark she made in this life which carries on today. If you would like to add your tributes, please do so on the forum : http://forum.themissionuk.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4584

WAYNE ADDS VOCAL TO NEW VERSION OF "SEVERINA"

Wayne lends his vocal talents to a new version of 'Severina' by DJ Kastilla. The song is available to hear and download from all the usual outlets and will be 'officially' released by Chrisal Music/Bap Productions on Sept. 5th.

Wayne says " I was approached via the Mission's Myspace page to see if I'd be interested in singing on a new version of 'Severina' by DJ Kastilla, who is based in Paris.  As we were just about to embark on our last European tour and didn't have any other time I suggested that I record the vocal during the afternoon of our Paris show back in February. So, a studio fairly near the Locomotive was booked and I was picked up from the venue by Kastilla and his long time Mission fan girlfriend, Grace, from the venue and driven to the studio. There, I heard the track for the first time. I firstly re-recorded the intro guitar part (couldn't use the original because of copyright issues) and then I sang the song in two takes, both of which seem to have been used in the final mix. It was fun to do and a pleasure to meet both Kastilla and Grace. I was only at the studio for an hour or so and then left for the venue and the soundcheck. The track is wholly Kastilla's idea and work. I just lent my vocal.

Also, whilst I was recently in Buenos Aires I was approached by Argentinian band, 'Cabezones', to sing on a version of 'Stay With Me' that they were recording. The day after the show I had a day off in BA and a time was arranged for me in the early evening to go to the studio to record the vocal. I went along and again heard the song for the first time there and then and then duly recorded the vocal in 3 tracks. They also got me to sing one of the chorus's in Spanish which was novel and fun for me."

Here  you can watch a short film of Wayne in the studio with 'Cabezones' (courtesy of Rod - thanks): http://www.proyectounder.com/nota.php?id=1273

SHEPHERDS BUSH DVD

Hi, Hope you're all well. I'm in England at the moment enjoying the lovely summer weather (it's warmer here than it is in Brazil right now) and met up with George Allen (Mission manager) a few days ago and he gave me a copy of the rough edit DVD of the last night we played at Shepherds Bush bak on March 1st. I know George has made mention of it on the forum here at MWIS and I have to totally concur with George and  say that I am over the moon with it. It's a fantastic performance, both by the band and by you, the audience. And it is filmed so well and sounds really great. I am sure you're all gonna be as delighted with it as we are.

Next weekend George and I are traveling up to Manchester (yeah, I know it hurts to be there the week of the CL final) to go through all the extras and to tighten up the actual film itself ready for summer release. We'll obviously let you know more details of release dates etc when we know but I do believe it is a fitting tribute both the band and our audience. It's pure celebration.

Also, I just wanted to say how much fun I had playing the 3 recent solo shows in Brazil. Thanks to those that came along and made the evenings memorable for me (hello Michel, Andrezza, and Frank). It was interesting to play with Victor on cello and he certainly added a welcome colour/texture. I'm looking forward to the upcoming shows in Argentina, Peru, & Chile also.  Hope to see some of you there.

There are plans afoot for further solo shows around the globe before the years end (you aleady know about the 2 UK festivals) and again as soon as we have more info we'll let you know.

It was interesting to witness the increased activity on the forums here in the aftermath of the Shepherds Bush shows and to welcome back a fair few souls I hadn't heard from for quite a few years (Ramone, Stoke, Jo & Pat, Bradleys, etc).

And lastly, I hope you will all raise a glass in honour of my 50th birthday on the 26th May. I know I will.

Cheers,

Wayne
