The Mission in South America

We here at MWIS would like to wish you all a very good 2012 and hope your festive season was suitably debauched.

Anyway, to start off the year we can now confirm that The Mission will be visiting South America in May as part of their ongoing 25 year anniversary celebrations!

Dates confirmed so far are:

• Thurs. 24th May: Teatro Coupolican, Santiago, Chile
• Sat. 26th (Wayne’s birthday!): Teatro Colegiales, Buenos Aires, Argentina
• Sun. 27th: Cine Joia, Sao Paulo, Brazil

There will also be a show in Rio De Janeiro on, we think, Thurs. 31st May and a show in Mexico City on Sat. 2nd June. More details to follow as we get them. Our agent is currently sunning himself on a beach somewhere, maybe Weston Super Mare, so extracting the info from him right now is proving difficult. But he’s back at work beginning of next week so we hope to have all the info for you at that time.We believe tickets are already on sale for the Buenos Aires show with Sao Paulo and Santiago going on sale very shortly.

The line-up for these shows will be as it was on the Euro tour of Oct-Nov just past – Craig Adams, Simon Hinkler, Wayne Hussey, & Mike Kelly.

We have also heard tale of at least one Euro festival appearance this summer by the band. Again, more details when we have them. Keep your eyes peeled.
